Job Description:
Bosley’s by Pet Valu is looking for One (1) Sales Supervisor-Retail to perform the following duties:
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Establish work schedules
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
Personal suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Dependability, Initiative, Ability to multitask
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $24.25 per hour; 30-40 hours per week; Overtime available
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately
• Benefits: Company Group Benefits; Paid time off
Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: High School or equivalent experience
• Experience: Minimum one year of relevant experience; Previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson or rental agent is an asset
