One (1) Restaurant Assistant Manager in Toronto, ON Job

Bready Café is looking for One (1) Restaurant Assistant Manager to work with the Restaurant Manager in performing duties including the following:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant
• Implement operational procedures
• Recruit staff and oversee staff training
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or receptions.

Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $36.75 per hour; 40 hours per week
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately

Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: No education required; Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management an asset
• Experience: minimum 1 year of experience in commercial food preparation or service
