One (1) Mushroom Farm Transport Truck Driver needed in Dundas, ON Job

Piccioni Bros. Mushroom Farm Ltd. is looking for One (1) Mushroom Farm Transport Truck Driver to perform the following duties:

• Operate and drive automobiles, vans, buses and trucks to pick up and deliver primary agricultural produce or inputs - mushroom farm products and farm workers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle
• Plan delivery travel schedules and service routes
• Load and unload cargo (mushroom farm products)
• Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage and fuel costs and report any incidents or problems encountered
• May scan and sort freight or cargo for delivery
• May assemble, install or set-up delivered mushroom farm products
• May communicate with central dispatch using mobile communications equipment
• May drive all types of trucks and bus.
• May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour; 40-60 hours/week; Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately

Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: No education requirement
• Experience (Certificates & licences):
 Valid driver's licence (Class 3 or D)
 A minimum of one year of safe driving experience is required
 On-the-job training is provided.
 Class G driver's licence in Ontario required
 Class 3 or D licence to drive straight-body trucks
 Class 1 or A licence to drive long combination vehicles
 Air brake endorsement (Z) to operate vehicles equipped with air brakes.
