One (1) Media & Advertising Specialist in London, ON Job

Marconi Club of London is looking for One (1) Media & Advertising Specialist to perform the following duties:

• Assist the General Manager in networking activities to expand media connections and gain a wider range of clientele.
• Advise management about products and services to be promoted on social media platforms and websites.
• Schedule advertising and marketing campaigns on social media about upcoming events and community outreach programs.
• Gather, research, and prepare communications material for internal and external audiences to help promote the Club in its efforts to engage in multicultural events.
• Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials
• Explore different campaigns, such as fundraising, through print and digital media to increase traffic and engagements, and to give back to the community.
• Assist in designing graphic arts materials such as posters, menus, and digital ads to advertise products, events, and services to the general public.
• Handle, monitor and oversee the Club's website and social media posts, advertising, communications.
• Document public opinions, feedback and client/guests concerns for policy and regulation control, response and implementation.
• Act as a secondary spokesperson for the club to address immediate concerns and inquiries from staff, clients, guests, and vendors.

Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $33.46 per hour; 40 hours per week
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: immediately

Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: High School or equivalent experience; A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline an asset but not a condition of employment
• Experience: Minimum experience of 1 year
