The Briones family is looking for One (1) Home Support Worker to perform duties including the following:
• Provide care and companionship for elderly person/person with chronic illness
• Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients
• May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse
• Perform routine housekeeping duties
Terms: Full-time
Start date: Immediately
Salary: $20 per hour / 40 hours per week
Work location: Private home in Cambridge, ON
Major Intersection: Cedar St. & Saint Andrews St. (N1S 1W5)
Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
Note: This is not a condition of employment.
Skills Requirements:
Education: minimum Secondary school or equivalent experience
Experience: 6 months’ training or relevant experience
Language: English
