Okinawa Sushi is seeking a F/T Cook. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.50~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 5201 Highway Avenue, Blackfalds, AB T0M 0J0

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook individual orders and complete meals
• Monitor food portions per dish and track ingredient costs to minimize waste
• Adjust standard recipes for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions
• Supervise and support kitchen staff during daily food preparation
• Train cooks in proper food handling and preparation
• Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies and kitchen equipment
• Request food stocks and kitchen supplies to keep inventory replenished

Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
