Job Description:
Lancaster County Courthouse has an immediate job opening for a full-time official court reporter.
Applicants must have completed court reporting school.
We welcome certified steno or voice writers to apply.
Duties include reporting stenographically or through voice writing verbatim criminal and civil trials, family court, along with any other matters heard before the Court. This 37.5 hour-per-week position offers a competitive starting salary of $54k along with paid holidays, vacation, sick and personal time, medical, dental and vision insurance, along with a desirable pension plan. In addition to salary, reporters earn extra income from producing transcripts. Reporters will receive a generous stipend for providing their own equipment. A $500 yearly bonus for each certificate acquired is given. We welcome newly-graduated reporters to start their career with us in beautiful downtown Lancaster, PA.
