Office Furniture Installer Job

ASR Moving Systems is seeking a full-time Office Furniture Installer for a permanent role, paying $37.00 per hour for 30–40 hours weekly, with a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and on-call availability. This position involves traveling regularly to different sites to set up office furniture, interpret plans and specifications, take measurements, mark placement points, and complete related documentation such as invoices and work orders. Duties also include preparing and transporting materials, loading and unloading equipment, and working with both manual and power tools in a physically challenging environment, occasionally lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs). The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to provide excellent client service while collaborating effectively with others. Applicants should have their own vehicle, a valid driving record, and basic equipment like a cell phone; post-secondary education is preferred, and prior hands-on experience will be considered an advantage.

Main duties include but are not limited to:
-Deliver courteous and professional client service
-Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to assess project needs
-Plan and establish installation methods and layouts
-Create and organize necessary paperwork, including invoices and job orders
-Take precise measurements and mark reference points for installation tasks
-Organize, prepare, and keep installation materials and equipment in good condition
-Handle the loading and unloading of vehicles with required tools and supplies
-Operate a variety of manual and powered tools safely and effectively
