Best Brains is an after-school Tutoring & Enrichment program, designed to enhance your child's overall academic development. We are inviting applications for a full-time Office Administrator position to work.

Position Title: Office Administrator (NOC: 13100)
Position Available: One
Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 35.00 $ per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week
Other benefits:
• Overtime benefits will be paid after 40 hours/week
• 4% vacation pay or two weeks of paid vacation
• On-site parking
Language: English is the primary language at the workplace

Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
As a Centre Administrator, you will be performing the following job duties:
• Oversee and coordinate centre’s administrative procedures to ensure smooth daily operations and review, evaluate, and implement new procedures
• Coordinate, and plan for Student’s class schedules
• Establish work priorities and delegate work for administrative and teaching staffs
• Oversee tasks related to student inquiries, admissions, file management, and academic support
• Manage inventory of educational materials, equipment, supplies, and maintain office inventories
• Oversee administrative operations related to marketing, advertising, and oversee the overall maintenance of the centre
• Gather, prepare, and communicate on student’s progress reports to the parents, and ensure the feedback sessions are conducted regularly
• Prepare periodic and special reports, related to centre’s performance management reviews
• Create newsletters and communication for staff and students
• Conduct orientations and training sessions for new staff members
Educational & Work Experience:
• Completion of secondary school is must. A college degree related to teaching or management is an asset.
• 1 year to 2 years of experience in educational setting in a senior level either in administration or in teaching
Additional Skills:
• Organisational, communication, time-management and problem solving skills are needed
• Enjoy working with educators, and parents
• Ability to learn and train new technologies related to the education setting
