Nurturing Hearts Montessori is seeking F/T Early Childhood Educators Job

Position Info:
• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $22.50~$24.57/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 3
• Work Location: 101-21025 48 Avenue, Langley, BC V3A 3M3

Job Duties:

• Design and provide childcare programs aimed at supporting children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Plan and conduct daily activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and physical activities
• Create and maintain a healthy and safe environment that promotes the well-being of children
• Evaluate the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss their progress or challenges with parents and other staff members
• Monitor children closely and write reports for parents, guardians or supervisors for any potential learning or behavioural problems
• Guide children in carrying out daily routines such as eating, dressing, and appropriate toilet habits
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers

Job requirements:

• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Language: English
