Job Description:
The Nursery Labourer will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the nursery. This includes planting, cultivating, harvesting, and maintaining plants. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and have a passion for horticulture.
Job Requirements:
Tie and secure plants
Weeding
Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
Mix and prepare soils
Plant bulbs and seeds
Pot and re-pot plants
Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
Report signs of insect or disease damage
Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Clean work area
