Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide urgent care services. The APP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Shift Type: Days
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On-Call Requirement: N/A
Projected Start: ASAP – coverage needed until October 20th (FT physician start) and partial coverage until 2nd FT APP is hired.
EMR: CareCloud
Schedule Details:
Primary model: 7 days on / 7 days off, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
Alternative schedules: Flexible options considered (e.g., 5 days/week or 4 on – 3 off).
Coverage needs:
Single physician coverage until 10/20.
Single APP coverage (half coverage) until 2nd FT APP is hired.
Daily Census: 50–60 projected patient volume.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions.
Deliver patient-centered, high-quality care.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure effective patient management.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation in CareCloud.

Board Certified. – Required
Active Ohio State NP or PA license. – Required (no exceptions due to quick start date).
DEA registration. – Required by start date.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. – Required
Clean background – Required
Ability to provide case logs from the last 2 years. – Required
Ability to provide three peer references from the last 2 years. – Required
