Job Description:
The Registered Nurse , caregiver , midwife is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients. The nurse etc assesses patients' health needs, develops and implements care plans, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient progress, and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any significant changes promptly.
Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
Ensure infection prevention and control practices are followed at all times.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and continuing professional development activities.
Working Conditions
Work in hospital wards, outpatient clinics, emergency departments, operating theatres, or other healthcare settings.
May be required to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
May need to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting or moving patients using safe handling techniques.
