We are seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead a Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, quality of care, and patient outcomes while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and professional nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Labor & Delivery clinical operations and staff
Maintain standards of care and drive quality improvement initiatives
Mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff
Monitor patient satisfaction, safety, and quality metrics
Collaborate with leadership, educators, and clinical teams
Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Qualifications
BSN required (ADN accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within 2 years)
Active RN license and BLS certification
3+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Management or charge nurse experience required
Preferred
Master’s degree in nursing or related field
1+ year of formal management experience
