Position: Nurse Aide
Wage: C$ 23.50 hourly
Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Job duties:
• Serve meal trays, feed or assist in feeding of patients and assist patients with menu selection.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse; track and document fluid intake and output.
• Observe clients’ physical and emotional conditions, report changes to nursing staff, and update care records accurately.
• Collect specimens (urine, stool, sputum) and assist with prescribed procedures such as suppositories and enemas under supervision.
• Support clients in exercise and recreational activities to maintain mobility and well-being.
• Provide first aid and emergency response within scope of training.
• Transport clients using wheelchairs or stretchers safely as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including making beds and sanitizing care equipment.
Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of specialized courses such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid is required.
