Nurse Aide Job

The Nurse Aide will support healthcare practitioners including chiropractors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists in delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves assisting in treatment procedures, preparing patients for therapies, maintaining clinical hygiene, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for patients undergoing rehabilitation and wellness treatments.
The position requires a compassionate individual who can work in a multidisciplinary clinical setting and assist in delivering patient-centered care aligned with the clinic’s holistic health philosophy.

Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
- Perform other duties related to personal care
- Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
- Supervise patients' exercise routines
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Transport patients between care facilities
- Maintain work records and logs
- Ensure safety procedures are followed
- Set up machines and equipment
- Prepare a treatment plan for each patient
- Follow through on treatment programs with patients
- Provide additional treatment such as heat, red light and massage
- Monitor patients’ condition and report any concerns to healthcare professionals
- Guide patients with basic movement exercises as instructed by physiotherapists
- Ensure strict infection control and hygiene standards across treatment areas
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for procedures
- Help patients with mobility, positioning, and comfort during therapy sessions
