Job Description:
We are an established oil & gas manufacturing company specializing in pipeline maintenance tools and components. Located in Tulsa, OK, we are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with strong Haas experience who can independently set up and operate equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
Position Summary
The CNC Lathe Machinist will set up and operate #Haas CNC lathes with live tooling to manufacture precision pipeline maintenance components. This role requires the ability to work independently, maintain tight tolerances, and support production needs across the shop when necessary.
Essential Responsibilities
Set up and operate Haas ST-30SS and Haas ST-20YSS CNC lathes
Run lathes with live tooling capability
Perform complete machine setups independently
Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Hold tight tolerances and ensure high-quality standards
Make program edits at the machine when required
Assist in other production areas as needed
Preferred Qualifications
CAM programming experience, preferably with Autodesk Fusion 360
Oil & gas or pipeline tool manufacturing experience
Strong understanding of tooling, materials, feeds, and speeds
Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
Compensation & Benefits
$30–$35 per hour based on experience
