Position Info:
• Position: Daycare Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2

Job Duties:
• Direct, train, and oversee early childhood educators, assistants, and volunteers to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality care
• Plan and execute balanced curriculum and daily routines that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Monitor children's progress and learning needs to design tailored individualized developmental plans
• Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment that complies with provincial child-care licensing regulations and safety standards
• Compile and share observations regarding children's overall progress, behavior, and daily activities, effectively communicating updates with parents and guardians
• Establish clear behavior guidelines and assist children in developing healthy social interactions, personal hygiene, and self-care routines
• Lead regular staff discussions to evaluate program effectiveness, address children's individual needs, and resolve operational challenges
• Order, organize, and maintain educational materials, playroom equipment, and daily operational supplies
• Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with co-workers, families, and external community service providers supporting children

Job requirements:
• Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in early childhood education or childcare is required
• Education: College Certificate or Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, ECE Certificate
• Language: English
