Network System Administrator Job

Position: Network System Administrator (NOC 22220)
Number of job vacancies: 2
Hours: 5 days /week, 30~40 hours/week
Hourly Wage: $31.50 ~ $32.50 (Depends on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Primary Service of Business: IT Managed Services / Cybersecurity and Networking and IT Consulting Services

MAIN DUTIES:
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the Internet and peripheral equipment
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software and software applications
Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and to coordinate access and use of computer networks
Provide problem-solving services to network users
Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of secondary school is required
A university degree or college diploma in Computer Related Program
Experience in a network administrator or technical support position
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
Attention to details and be organized
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Time management and decision-making skills are required
