Duties:
Managing and maintaining the dental clinic's IT infrastructure, including hardware and software and LAN and WAN. Managing and maintaining the network in real time. Ensures the network is secure by blocking suspicious activity and mitigating the risk of security breaches. Implementing and updating IT security protocols to ensure patient data privacy and confidentiality. Implements security programs based on hardware and software. Manages on-site networking servers responsible for business operations. Ensures network integrity and resilience to maintain service levels. Tests the network to uncover weaknesses and mitigate them. Monitors and tracks utilization. Applies utilization, authentication, and authorization policies to maintain the quality and security of the network. Assisting dental staff with troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues. Collaborating with IT vendors and providers to ensure smooth operation of IT systems. Providing technical support to dental practices using the company's software. Troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues. Providing comprehensive technical support to clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of dental practice management software, digital imaging systems, and other specialized clinical applications as well as training clinical staff on the effective use of IT systems and applications, and developing user-friendly documentation to support ongoing knowledge transfer. Providing technical support to staff members regarding network-related inquiries. Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, including dental equipment integrations, to minimize downtime and maintain optimal clinical workflows. Collaborating with third-party vendors and service providers to coordinate system upgrades, maintenance, and ensure compliance with industry specific IT regulations. Conducting regular maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and backups.
