Job Description:
In-Home Caregiver/Nanny needed for 3 children (12,9,9) in North York, ON. $20.85
per hour for a 40 hour work week. Overtime may be
required from 45-48 hours and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week on
Saturday and Sunday. One year of relevant professional childcare experience required.
Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. 7:15 AM-6:15 PM
Monday-Friday. Mid day break. Job located in North York (Bathurst & Wilson).
English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employers home.
Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence. Plan, cook meals and feed
children. Light housekeeping for children. Oversee children’s activities. Maintain a safe
and healthy environment in the home. Instruct children in personal hygiene. Tend to the
emotional well-being of children and support their social development. Discipline children
according to the methods requested. Organize and participate in activities such as games,
crafts, reading and outings. Walk to and from school, activities, programs. Homework
supervision.
Good communication and decision making skills are essential. MUST BE FLEXIBLE
