Nanny Job

We are looking for a Nanny to provide care for our 9 year old son at our residence located at 46091 higginson Road Chilliwack, British Columbia V2R 2A9. This is a full time job for 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Nanny, you will be performing the following job duties:

-Supervise and care for the child in the employer’s own residence.
-Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the child at home.
-Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the child according to the required schedule and dietary needs.
-Closely supervise the child at all times to ensure her safety and well-being.
-Bathe, dress, and assist the child with personal hygiene according to her comfort level.
-Take the child to the park and participate in age-appropriate recreational activities.
-Assume full responsibility for the child and household-related duties in the absence of the parents.
-Provide emotional support and encourage the child’s social, physical, and personal development.
-Accompany and transport the child to and from appointments and other necessary activities when required.

Requirements:
-No specific education is required
-Completion of a training program in childcare or some household management experience would be an asset but not -required, training will be provided.
-Basic English is required.
-Fluent in Punjabi/Hindi will be an asset.

What we offer:
-$22.00 per hour
-Terms of Employment: Full time/Permanent job position
-14 days of paid vacation will be given
