We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated nanny to join our family and provide nurturing care for our three children, one aged 7 years and twin toddlers aged 3.5 years. Position: Nanny
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Working hours per week: 40
Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent
Number of Positions: 1
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Chilliwack, BC, V2P 1V5
Work setting: Work in employer's home
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Repetitive tasks
Personal suitability: Dependability, Excellent oral communication, Initiative, Organized, Reliability
Job Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, nurturing, and age-appropriate care for three children (ages 7 and 3.5 years – twins).
• Supervise and ensure children’s safety, both indoors and outdoors.
• Organize and engage children in educational, recreational, and creative activities to promote learning and development.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, bathing, dressing, and maintaining good hygiene.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Accompany children to school, appointments, and activities as required.
• Support the 7-year-old with homework and school-related tasks.
• Encourage positive behavior, social interaction, and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the children, including light housekeeping duties related to their care (tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals, children’s laundry).
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
Job Requirements
• Completion of Secondary school.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or completion of the training program in childcare or in a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak in Filipino is an asset, but not mandatory
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work responsibly and as part of a family team.
