Nanny Job

We are currently looking to hire a Nanny for our child. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, fun-loving, caring, trustworthy, and calm, with excellent communication skills.

Salary: $21.50 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time; year-round work.
Work Setting: Private home located in Abbotsford, BC.
Work Location: Abbotsford, BC, V4X 0B8 (Intersection of Railcar Cres & Lundeberg Ave, Near Swensson Park, Abbotsford, BC)

Job duties:

• Supervise and care for the child during the parents’ absence to ensure the child’s safety and well-being.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the child and handle housekeeping tasks associated with the child’s daily activities.
• Encourage and instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development.
• Provide support with homework, school assignments, and learning activities.
• Engage the child in age-appropriate educational activities, including games, crafts, reading sessions etc.
• Accompany the child to school, extracurricular activities, parks, and appointments when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized home environment for child.
• Guide and discipline the child in accordance with parental instructions and expectations.

Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school.
• At least 6 months of relevant work experience or completion of the training program in childcare or a related field.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Ability to work without supervision.
