Nanny Job

We are looking for a Nanny to provide care for our 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son at our residence located at 8936 112A St Delta, BC V4C 4Z9. This is a full time job for 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Nanny, you will be performing the following job duties:

- Supervise and provide care for the children in the employer’s residence.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy home environment to ensure the children’s safety and well-being.
- Bathe, dress, feed, and assist the children with personal hygiene according to their ages and individual needs.
- Prepare milk and age-appropriate meals and snacks, change diapers, and assist with toilet training as required.
- Plan and maintain daily routines, including feeding schedules, nap times, playtime, and rest periods, as instructed by the parents.
- Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities, including games, reading, crafts, and outdoor outings, to encourage the children’s physical, social, and emotional development.
- Provide emotional support, encourage positive behaviour, and guide the children using discipline methods approved by the parents.
- Assume responsibility for the children’s care and supervision in the absence of the parents and perform child-related housekeeping duties as required.
- Accompany and transport the children to parks, medical appointments, and other necessary activities when required.

Number of positions: 1

Requirements:

- No specific education is required
- Completion of a training program in childcare or some household management experience would be an asset but not required, training will be provided.
- Basic English is required.

What we offer:

- $21.00 per hour.
- Terms of Employment: Full time/Permanent job position.
- 14 days of paid vacation will be given.
