Job Duties:
- Performing various nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements
(such as acrylic or gel nails).
- Cutting cuticles, cleaning, buffing, shaping, filing and polishing nails and toenails.
- Applying nail art, extensions, or other decorative elements based on client preferences.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Disinfecting tools, equipment, and surfaces to prevent the spread of infections.
Skill Requirements:
- Language: Workplace English
- Education: Completion of a recognized nail technician program (certificate or diploma)
- Experience: 1 year of experience in nail care services
Regulatory Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible to obtain licensing with the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick (CANB). Candidates who already hold a valid licence will be considered an asset. The employer is willing to support the selected candidate in meeting licensing requirements.
