Company Overview

CleanCoal Technology Corp. is an innovative clean-technology and advanced-materials company developing surface-modified cenospheres recovered from coal fly ash. The company uses nanotechnology and material-engineering processes to improve the bonding between lightweight cenosphere particles and cementitious materials, supporting the development of stronger, lighter and more sustainable concrete products.

CleanCoal Technology Corp.’s proposed process incorporates nanomaterials such as nano-silica and nano-metal oxides to modify cenosphere surfaces and improve particle strength, mechanical performance, chemical resistance, thermal insulation, fire resistance and water-resistance characteristics. The company’s technology is intended to convert an industrial waste material into a useful product while reducing reliance on carbon-intensive conventional construction materials.

The company plans to supply surface-modified cenospheres in dry, wet and slurry forms for applications across the construction, oil and gas, plastics and automotive industries. Its proposed customers include concrete and building-material manufacturers, specialty cement producers, insulation suppliers, syntactic-foam manufacturers and other industrial organizations seeking lightweight and high-performance materials.
