Multimedia Illustrator Job

Responsibilities:

Create visually stunning designs for a range of animation projects, including character designs, storyboards, and background artwork.
Design and create 2D and/or 3D assets such as characters, props, and environments for animation projects.
Collaborate with animators to ensure that designs are functional and easy to animate.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new projects and concepts.
Provide input on the development of project briefs, scripts, and storyboards.
Create concept art and mood boards to help establish the visual direction for each project.
Collaborate with creative directors and production teams to bring the vision of each project to life.
Work closely with the art director to ensure that the final product is consistent with the established style and tone.
Work with various software programs to create and edit artwork, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, ensuring that designs meet project specifications and are delivered on time.
Attend production meetings and provide regular updates on the status of your work.
Manage your own workload and prioritize tasks based on project timelines and deadlines.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into your work.

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, or a related field.
Previous professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on character design and illustration.
Excellent design skills, with a strong sense of color, composition, and storytelling.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with exceptional attention to detail.
Job type: Permanent Full-time (35 hours/week)

Pay scale: $35/hour
