MS HomeCare is seeking a F/T Home Support Worker Job

Position Info:

• Position: Home Support Worker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $25.00 ~ $27.00 /hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: Vancouver, BC

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with transferring, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Manage and prepare all medications and ensuring that all doses are taken as scheduled
• Plan and prepare all meals, and provide feeding assistance as required
• Provide emotional support and companionship through conversation and engagement
• Provide continuous wheelchair assistance during short excursions for fresh air or appointments
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and keeping the living space tidy and organized

Job requirements:

• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
