Position: Bottle Depot Supervisor
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $31.35 – $33.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 1
Work Location: 501 E Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5T 1X4
Benefits:
4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
Supervise, assign, and review the work of staff engaged in recycling, receiving refunds on deposits, sorting and processing, preparing for recycling, and other related activities
Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, standards, and regulations, actively participating in their improvement
Address diverse issues and complaints, implementing corrective actions and procedural enhancements to improve efficiency
Provide training to staff members on their job responsibilities
Keep track of the requisition process for necessary supplies and materials
Ensure the uninterrupted functionality of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repair activities as needed
May conduct performance evaluations for supervised personnel
Job requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary education is required
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the occupation supervised are required
Language: English
