Sundowner Motel needs one (1) Motel Managing Supervisor who can start immediately. We are in Cache Creek, British Columbia.
Wage: $25.00 per hour for 30 – 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent; Full-Time
Applicant with part-time availability to cover full shift are encouraged to apply.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum of 7 months in hotel or similar industry.
Ability to Supervise:
Staff in various areas of responsibility
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Overtime required; Standing for extended periods; Attention to detail
Personal Suitability:
Flexibility; Accurate; Client focus; Effective interpersonal skills; Dependability
Job Duties:
• Oversee daily motel operations to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service delivery.
• Requisition and maintain adequate inventory of operational supplies and materials.
• Coordinate and supervise work schedules of contract staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and landscaping personnel.
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of all facility systems, including computer networks, security systems, and equipment such as coffee and ice machines.
• Inspect and evaluate the work performed by external contractors to ensure compliance with quality and service standards.
• Provide direct assistance to guests, including those with special needs, and ensure a high standard of customer service.
• Recruit, hire, and train staff on job duties, workplace safety, and company policies.
• Address and resolve operational issues, staff concerns, and guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare, review, and submit operational reports, including maintenance logs and staff performance updates.
• Perform hands-on duties of contract staff when required due to absence or operational needs to maintain service continuity.
