Position: Dental Technician Assistant
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $26.00 - $28.00/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions: 2
Work Location: 405-555 6th Street, New Westminster, BC V3L 5H1
Benefits:
10 days paid vacation per year
Extended Medical Benefits after 3 months probation period
Job Duties:
Prepare dental models and moulds by using plaster with dental impressions
Create bridges and denture bases by utilizing molten gold or metal alloys
Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
Complete the metal structure of dentures and polish them for a natural finish
Make orthodontic bands using different types of metals such as gold, silver, stainless steel, or other similar materials
Mould wax over denture set-up to form full contours of artificial gums
Job requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in dental technology industry are required
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Language: English
