Midwest Regional Sales Manager Job

The Breaker Group has been retained by a manufacturer of precision grinding machines in a search for a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest territory. This is a high impact role that will offer the opportunity for someone to be mentored into the role by a senior member of the sales team. The ideal candidate will:

1. Be local to the Chicago area.
2. Have a strong interest in machine tool sales. Grinding experience is a plus, but other types of experience will be considered.
3. Have a strong HUNTER mentality and a desire to GROW sales through proactive selling.
3. Be available for regular travel, including overnights, within the territory (MI, IL, WI, IN, MO)

Applicants with a strong technical background (applications engineers, technical sales, etc.) who have a strong desire to transition into a sales role will also be given serious consideration. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, commission plan, company benefits, and a performance-based bonus. All applicants will be kept 100% confidential.
