Job Description:
Summary: The Manager, Epic Data Integration directs the tactical and operational development, implementation, and support of data integration, interfaces, and data integration automation solutions within the Epic environment and associated third party applications. The manager is responsible for the professional development of staff. The manager is responsible for setting priorities, resource management, scheduling and technical direction for proposed and operationalized integrated solutions. Participates in budgeting and short and long term planning. Monitors all production interface and integration outages and the restoration of operationalized services. Responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships that can be leveraged to support the enterprise objectives. Responsible for resolving issues, meeting scheduled milestones, and providing status and feedback in a timely manner. Supports the enterprise business goals and manages the diversity of needs and constraints prioritizing resources to best fit the overall business strategy for the enterprise. Works with the Director of Data Management to lead and promote within the department to help standardize work processes and understand department capacity and promote innovation in all aspects of the team's work. Will also ensure all data integration systems enhance and safeguard proprietary patient, family and employee confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Certification/Licensure:
Knowledge and Experience: Experience with HL7 development platforms: Corepoint, Cloverleaf, or Rhapsody. Experience programming in C#, SQL or equivalent programming languages. Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions, systems, or products. Knowledge of CDA, CCD and CCDA. Knowledge of FHIR and RESTful web services. Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, utilization of new technologies, solutions and resource management. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Experience in operations, database administration, interface engines, integration strategies and methodologies, interoperability applications and system programming and administration. Knowledge of software and systems development life cycle. Experience with project management. Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in information technology required.
- Minimum of 3 years in a management, supervisory or lead position required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Care environment preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Epic Bridges certification highly preferred.
- Epic certification is required within 6 months from offer, including 2 test retakes.
