Accurex Surveying Ltd in Langley is looking for permanent, full-time positions for one Meteorological technician to assist in running growing firm and could join immediately.
Location: Langley, BC
Positions Available: 1 (One)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $36 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train staff members.
• Maintain and manage digital databases.
• Conduct basic analyses of trends by processing data.
• Write technical reports and specifications.
• Monitor and ensure quality standards.
• Participate in field checks and verifications.
• Inspect final compositions.
• Interpret aerial photographs.
• Develop specialized computer software and Internet-based GIS applications.
• Report on ice conditions in navigable waters.
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy.
• Offer mentoring and support.
Skills and Education:
1-2 years of related experience
Completion of a one-year meteorological technician program.
