We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures, following precise engineering drawings and blueprints. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in metalworking, capable of handling various tools and machinery to produce high-quality metal products.
Responsibilities:
• Material Determination: Assess and determine the materials required for each project.
• Layout & Pattern Development: Lay out reference points and create patterns for cutting and assembling metal.
• Task Planning: Plan the sequence of tasks to cut and shape metal efficiently.
• Blueprint Analysis: Study engineering drawings and blueprints to understand material requirements and project specifications.
• Assembly & Fitting: Assemble and fit plates and sections to form metal structures according to specifications.
• Joining Sections: Weld or bolt sections together to complete the fabrication of structures.
• Machinery Operation: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, including shears, presses, and rollers.
• Pattern & Template Construction: Construct patterns and templates for use in fabrication.
• Installation: Install fabricated components in the final product or structure.
• Material Handling: Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite as needed.
