Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Read and interpret work orders
2. Operate metal cleaning equipment such as deburrs and tumblers to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other material from surfaces of metal parts, castings and other metal products
3. Load and unload vehicles using hand truck or dolly
4. Set up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears.
5. Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
6. Assist steel and plate work fitters, sheet metal workers, metalworking machine operators or other metal workers
7. Transport raw materials and finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
8. Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
9. May cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
10. Conduct quality checks on finished products.
11. Polish metal products to a mirror finish
12. Clean work areas and equipment
13. Strict compliance to company safety operational procedures.
14. Perform other related duties as required

Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday; 2 days off on weekends

Wage/Benefit: $26.00/hour + Medical, Dental and Disability Insurance

Employment Requirements:
• Education: Some secondary school education is required
• Work Experience: At least 7 months previous related experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided.
