Medical Transcriptionist Job

• Transcribe voice recordings from healthcare providers into written documents.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical reports and patient records.
• Review and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling patient information.
• Organize and manage electronic health records in an efficient manner.
• Collaborate with physicians to clarify ambiguities and obtain necessary information.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and transcription standards.

• Proficient in English with excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Experience in medical transcription or a certificate in medical transcription is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in using transcription software and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy, minimum 60 words per minute.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA compliance guidelines.
