Category: Sales/Demonstrators
Job Description:
Location: Major Metro Areas Only (NYC, Chicago, Miami, SF, etc.)
The Pedigree
Kenchana Medical is a premier sub-distributor for Sukin Kea, a leading medical distributor co-founded by an Ivy League-educated and trained surgeon. We offer a comprehensive wound care solution featuring the nation’s highest-reimbursing patches—Medicare-covered, triple-layer technology designed to maximize healing and patient outcomes.
The Passive Income Engine: True Lifetime Residuals
This isn't a "one-and-done" sales role. Once a doctor begins using our patches, you are paid every single time they place a patch on a patient, forever. * The Math: You earn a sliding scale commission (currently ~$3/sq cm) based on quarterly federal mandates.
Example Case Study (at current $3/sq cm rate):
Wound Size: 100 sq cm
Treatment Cycle: 8 to 10 applications (standard for chronic wounds)
Total for ONE Patient: $2,400 – $3,000 in residual commission. Some offices place treat just 3 chronic wounds patients per week, and some are doing 3-4 PER WEEK.
The Scaling Effect: Landing just 1–2 high-volume providers can replace a high-end executive salary. Once the account is set, you do zero follow-up; you simply collect the residuals.
The Reality: We have a representative currently earning $100,000 per quarter ($400k/year) from just four active accounts. * Zero Follow-Up: Your job is to open the door and close the deal. Once the account is active, the provider's staff handles the ordering and applications while you collect the monthly residuals.
The Schedule: 5 Hours to Financial Freedom
This role is specifically designed for high-performers who currently have a flexible or remote "day job."
- The Commitment: Just 2 office visits per week (approx. 4–5 total hours including drive time).
- The Meeting: Actual face-time with the doctor is typically only 15 minutes.
- The Logistics: Meetings occur during lunch hours. You must have the flexibility to travel (avg. 20 min, up to 45-60 min) to a practice during the day.
- We can potentially get leads for you, but for the month of February at least, you will need to source your own leads. March will likely be when we can get leads for you, which is really rare to find in the medical sales space. It typically takes 80-100 cold calls to get one appointment. Which is why we recommend those with connections in health care already to apply, unless you are also willing to do cold calls yourself, or pay $700/mo for a cold caller we have on staff to do the calling for you.
- We provide all training, and it typically takes just 2-3 days and 2-3 visits to get a handle on it. We are here to coach you and always available for calls.
Transparency: The Reality of the Build
We are looking for long-term partners, not "get-rich-quick" applicants.
1. Investment in Success: "Lunch & Learns" are the industry standard. You will be expected to provide lunch for the office (2–15 people). This is an out-of-pocket business expense ($30–$90). If you cannot afford this initial investment, please do not apply.
2. The 20% Rule: It may take ~5 meetings to land your first account. Persistence is mandatory.
3. Quarterly Upside: Federal reimbursement rates change quarterly and are currently at a cyclical low. Reps joining now are positioned to see their commissions increase as rates adjust upward.
4. LLC Requirement: You must have an LLC set up (or be willing to do so immediately—it is a low-cost, 10-minute online process).
Who You Are
- Background: 5+ years of sales experience is preferred. Preference is given to Medical Sales veterans, but any elite salesperson can succeed with our training.
- Networkers: Existing connections to Podiatrists, Home Health Agencies, or Interventional Cardiologists are a massive advantage.
- Major Metro Focus: We only hire in high-density metro areas to ensure you have the physician volume required for high-six-figure earnings.
How to Apply
Due to the high residual nature of this role, we expect a large volume of applicants. We will likely close this posting within 48 hours.
When applying you MUST send the following:
1. Your resume
2. You connections in the medical field
3. What metro area you live in and confirmation you can drive up to an hour to appointments
4. The flexibility of your work schedule to be able to attend luncheons
5. Affirmation that you understand that it may take a few appointments to land a client and that you are willing to provide luncheons
6. Whether you want to hire our cold caller, will do it yourself, or will need leads
