Medical Research Development Specialist Job

1. Assist in the development of an AI-powered medical application for the Greek and U.S. markets that provides users with information about potential medical issues, including symptoms and proposed diagnoses. 2. Work on new patents, ensuring the protection and innovation of proprietary medical technologies. 3. Mentor, guide, and collaborate with the company's Greek technical team to ensure the successful execution of research projects and the development of prototypes into final products. 4. Translate research findings into real-world applications, ensuring practical usability and effectiveness. 5. Liaise with external partners in both Greece and the U.S., as well as stakeholders, to optimize research outcomes and foster collaborative advancements. 6. Manage and oversee the research budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and commercial viability of innovations.

1. Basic knowledge of medicine, including general epidemiology, research methodology, medical statistics, general microbiology, and immunology, with a focus on infectious diseases. 2. Minimum of three (3) years of practical clinical experience in relevant medical fields. 3. Strong ability to communicate complex medical and scientific concepts effectively to a multidisciplinary team, including technical and non-medical professionals. 4. Experience in translating medical research into practical applications or technological innovations. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to guide the development of AI driven medical solutions. 6. Knowledge of the Greek medical regulatory requirements within the Greek National Health System (EOPYY) and ethical considerations related to AI in healthcare.
