Devcare solutions is currently recruiting for an excellent Locum Medical Director opportunity with the State of Texas Health and Human Services – Rio Grande State Supported Living Center located in Harlingen, Texas.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary medical team while providing high-quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Position Details
Title: Medical Director
Location: Harlingen, TX
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership for the medical department
• Supervise Physicians, APRNs, PAs, Psychiatrists, Dentists, Pharmacists
• Manage complex medical and behavioral health cases
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
• Ensure compliance with Texas HHS and DOJ standards
• Provide primary medical care for assigned individuals
• Participate in leadership meetings and on-call rotation
Required Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Active Texas Medical License
• DEA Registration
• Active NPI
• Eligible Medicare/Medicaid Provider
• Leadership experience preferred
