Medical Biller Job

Position Overview: As a Medical Billing you will be a part of a small team of billing professionals, ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes. You will be instrumental in identifying challenges, implementing solutions, and supporting your team’s development.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit claims to various insurance companies electronically and manually.
Answer questions from clients and insurance companies.
Identify and resolve client and insurance billing complaints.
Prepare, review, and send client statements.
Reconcile and post payments.
Follow up on delayed and denied claims (appeals).
Analyze accounts receivable aging and claims adjustments.
Manage collection efforts.
Essential Duties:

· Must be able to complete the full billing cycle

· Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, both electronically and manually.

· Address questions and resolve issues for clients and insurers.

· Review and send client statements; reconcile and post payments.

· Follow up on delayed or denied claims, including appeals.

· Analyze accounts receivable aging and manage collection efforts.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of mobile radiology billing experience required; Medicaid knowledge is a plus.

· Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.

· Detail-oriented and highly organized.

· Familiarity with Medimatrix is beneficial but not required.
