Wages: $38.00-$39.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Prepare and interpret computer-assisted design (CAD) drawings and technical specifications for custom precision metal fabrications, focusing on aluminum extrusions and components for the automotive, aerospace, and transportation industries.
Design custom tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures to optimize high-volume manufacturing processes across the facility's 50+ CNC machining centers and robotic welding stations.
Evaluate project requirements to prepare accurate material estimates, production cost analyses, and manufacturing schedules for new stamping, forming, and compound mitre cutting programs.
Monitor, evaluate, and optimize automated mechanical and robotic processes including material handling, bending, drilling, and tapping to ensure maximum efficiency and flexible automation.
Conduct rigorous mechanical testing, dimensional analysis, and performance evaluations on machined metal components to ensure strict compliance with client specifications and the company's IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Develop, implement, and supervise preventative mechanical maintenance programs for heavy manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines and stamping presses, to minimize downtime in a continuous three-shift operation.
Inspect new mechanical installations on the shop floor and troubleshoot mechanical faults in automated production lines to maintain smooth plant operations.

Education: Completion of Completion of a two- or three-year college program in mechanical engineering technology is required.
