Job Description:
* Use CAD software to create and modify detailed technical drawings and specifications for machinery, components, and production lines to support cedar lumber re-manufacturing.
* Design and refine molds, jigs, and fixtures to improve the efficiency and precision of planer-resaw, chopping, and ripping lines.
* Conduct performance tests on equipment and materials to assess strength, durability, and response under stress, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
* Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and keep production equipment operating at peak efficiency.
* Estimate costs, materials, and timelines for equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and mechanical system installations.
* Inspect and supervise the installation and operation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and production goals.
* Oversee facility and production line upgrades to optimize efficiency, quality, and performance.

Job Requirements:
* A diploma from a two- or three-year college program in mechanical engineering technology or a related field is required.
