Mechanical HVAC Engineer/Project Manager Job

Matern Professional Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager at its Orlando-Maitland, FL location. Position is responsible for project management/coordination, as well as project design responsibilities, relating to commercial and healthcare building HVAC design and construction, including HVAC cooling/heating load calculations, sizing of ductwork/piping, HVAC unit sizing and equipment selection, including DX and chilled water equipment, pumps, and cooling towers.

Requires BSME, plus 5+ years' experience relevant to commercial and healthcare building design projects. All candidates will be expected to perform well in a team environment and provide effective written and verbal communication, and possess a good working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. Prior project management/coordination experience is strongly preferred.

Relocation assistance will be considered.

Candidate must be able to pass criminal background checks, not limited to the Jessica Lunsford Act to be able to visit school sites and FBI for government buildings.
