Mechanical Engineering Technologist Job

Looking for fulltime, permanent, mechanical engineering technologist, experienced person for this position. 40 hrs a week, $38 per hour

Responsibilities
Tasks
Create manufacturing instructions Create user manuals
Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
Estimate costs and materials
Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects Test machines and equipment
Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports Conduct work measurement or other studies
Inspect processes
Collect and compile operational or experimental data
Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs Oversee production
Read blueprints and drawings
Collect and analyze data and samples
