Job Duties:
• Prepare and interpret computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, diagrams,
drawings, and specifications for dock levelers and hydraulic components and other
related mechanical parts.
• Prepare cost and material estimates as well as production schedules and reports.
• Order part and components from various suppliers.
• Conduct tests on hydraulic power units, dock systems and other related components to
verify their performance and strength based on the intended design.
• Design dock levelers and hydraulic components such as hydraulic oil tank, pumps,
manifolds, motors as bases for manufacturing processes.
• Assemble hydraulic power units for various applications.
• Provide quote to clients for various product carried by the company.
• Provide technical support on clients.
• Prepare installation guidelines for installers, maintenance procedures and trouble
shooting guide for hydraulic units.
Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 35 hours of work per week

• Completion of a two- to three-year college or University program in mechanical engineering or Mechanical engineering technology is required
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a relevant field
• Project management for monitoring fabrication and building progress strong asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, MS Project, and Solid Works
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy,
• Commitment to ongoing professional and personal growth
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment.
