Mechanical Engineer Job

Onward client currently looking for a Drafter/Designer to join the production team. In this role, this person will be working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, and much more. The person we are looking for needs to be able to create blueprints, drawings, and 3-D models for manufacturing packages. Describe production and installation methods step-by-step to create manuals that describe existing products. Create drawings and instructions for installation and operation manuals.

Job duties to include, but not limited to:

· Create 3D models of HVAC equipment
· Design sheet metal parts in SolidWorks
· Create manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructions
· Collaborating with the Engineering team to create accurate designs and documentation
· Manage, process, and update revisions, drawings, and bill of materials
· Exhibit mechanical aptitude with abstract thinking and reasoning skills

Qualifications:

· SolidWorks experience required
· 2D CAD experience required
· Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role
· SolidWorks certification is a plus
· Additional certification from the ADDA is a plus
