Mechanical Engineer Job

A Mechanical Engineer is needed in Montgomery, Alabama.

• Evaluate and monitor all aspects of mechanical production by conducting research and testing of all related components in manufacturing automotive door systems and modules.
• Analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data related to mechanical components to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of mechanical machinery for manufacturing operations.
• Interpret and analyze mechanical engineering specifications and proposed designs for product to select quality and cost-efficient mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Examine installation, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical machines for assembly lines.
• Develop the manufacturing process and design layouts of manufacturing machinery lines by analyzing the engineering requirements of the products.
• Research, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment.
• Calculate engineering costs to assist other departments in submitting bid proposals for obtaining orders from customers or purchasing mechanical equipment.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
