Mechanical Engineer Job

A Mechanical Engineer is needed in Auburn, Alabama.

• Evaluate and monitor all aspects of mechanical production by conducting research and testing of all related components in automotive parts production.
• Analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data related to mechanical components to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of mechanical machinery for manufacturing of automotive part such as front axle assembly, rear axle assembly, rear carrier assembly, half-shaft assembly, and cross grove joint.
• Interpret and analyze mechanical engineering specifications and proposed designs for product to select quality and cost-efficient mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Develop and test mechanical engineering aspects of prototypes to ensure that the products comply both with specifications of clients and government and industry mandated regulations and guidelines.
• Calculate engineering costs to assist other departments in submitting bid proposals for obtaining orders from customers or purchasing mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to ensure quality control and assurance by eliminating faulty and/or irregular operations of the mechanical equipment.
• Record data and results from prototype tests and make necessary mechanical engineering adjustments.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field of study.
